How is TED diagnosed?
Thyroid disorders are diagnosed by hyper- or hypothyroid symptoms and blood tests looking at the levels of thyroid hormones. TED is diagnosed based on history of thyroid disease, eye symptoms, and clinical exam findings. Radiologic imaging, such as CT scans and MRIs are also used. [Back to Questions]
